The water is warm all year round and there are 365 documented ship wrecks in the area. Bermuda is know as the shipwreck haven amoung the diving fraturnity. The island is situated on a 200 mile coral reef which make for spectacular dives.

What makes the Bermudians so friendly?

Due to the mix of various cultures, the people who found themselves on the island had no choiuce but to mix with everybody – as you can imagine the island is small so it was a case that you had to fit in with everyone. In the past the island had a mix of interesting people from miltary seaman to pirates, from Americans to English, from farmers to financial brokers. Due to the mix os different cultures and people the island became very tolerant of  different people and naturally this makes them friendlier. Also the fact that tourism is a large part of the GDP helps them ensure that you have a great holiday in their country.

Should I take my golf clubs?

There are plenty of golf courses on the islands – and you may end up playing too much golf. We would suggest that you rent your clubs there, unless you are going for a golfing holiday. Make arrangements with the courses before leaving for your holiday as most of the courses are private and either need special permission for visitors to play or sometims are closes to outsiders unless introduced by a member.

Other Sports to play on the vacation?

Wheer does one start, horse riding which enjoys plenty of beach riding. Fishing, being an island of course has a vast amount of fishing opportunities. Scuba diving, sailing, water skiing, snorkling and swimming. Cricket is big, but their national side requires a little work. A great place to go running, but you may pass the same scenary more than once on the run.
